Hello,
I am looking into buying a Lamiglas Cascade Pro BC96LS at a local store. I was going to use this for a bobber and light gear steelhead fishing. I can not find much info on this rod so my question to you is this.
1. Is this rod rated for braided line?
2. Can you give me as much info on this rod that you have.

All rod ratings are based on monofilament, so the rod is rated for 6-10 pound line. This rod is very similar to our MBS 96L and comes with a one year limited warranty against defects in material or workmanship. Good rod for the money! John

This rod works quite well for your intended purpose. I use 20lb high-vis power pro and 10lb flourocarbon leader and have had zero issues. I caught the fish in my pic with this set up a short time ago, it is in the 12lb range and the rod handled like a dream. In fact, since purchasing this rod a couple months ago I've landed over twenty prime specimens and have no gripes about the set up. Don't worry about the warranty, just buy it, you will be stoked.
