We will be offering some longer 13'6" graphite rods soon for your type of application. If you are not looking for something that long the ss11mhs should do the trick.

Are those rod going to be spinning and casting? And when do you think there coming out?

They will be casting rods and will be available in the next month or so.

I think a lot of surf folks prefer spinning reels like Van Staal, Zeebaas, Shimano, Daiwa, Penn etc. so leaving out spinning would eliminate a big percentage of the surf anglers. I fish nothing but spinning for the majority of all of my fishing.

Most people looking for rods in the 13'6"-16' range are throwing casting reels. Most of the inquiries we get for these rods are from tournament casters or tournament casters going fishing. If you look at our lineup we offer very few casting rods untill the length gets to 11".
