Newbee looking for advise for which rod to be used with the above reels?I currently use 750ssm and am leaning towards a Diawa EP 5000.I fish CC Canal as well as beachs.I am using 10' Penn M/H pole 3-6 now with 20lb test.I fish 2 3/4 -5oz plugs ,metals,live eels,etc. I plan on trying braided 30lb on current reel as well as new Diawa.I am leaning towards Lami Surf king 11MHS.I want to buy the right 1 once and stay with it. Any advise on these rods as well as the braided line? Are these rods to heavy for these size plugs?Really looking to get more distance.Am I headed in the right direction? Thank you Yellowjet
