Center pin reel

Anyone out there use a center pin reel (Okuma Aventa) w/ the X10 MS ? Thanks.

I use that pin reel on a XCF1064F, and it makes an excellent rod/reel combo for larger salmon and steelhead.

I'd consider a rod with a shorter rear grip (Handle style #4) when fishing a center pin...the casting style might be a little messy with a long rear grip on a center pin!
