XC 724 vs. XCF 705/705R

How do the action of these two rods compare? Im looking for a graphite rod that can throw moderately light jerk baits (LC Flash Minnow 110) for halibut in the surf. I want the graphite action to be as slow as the fiberglass so I dont pull any hooks, but just as light and sensitive as the graphite. Can someone fill me in?

It is always a trade off. But

It is always a trade off. But the closest thing you can get is the XCC725 which is a composite of glass and graphite. It has a similar action to the XCF705 with more sensitivity and less weight.
