I have purchased a Model 843 7' 2 pc Fiberglass Fly Rod Blank and can't wait to finish it.
My question is I am looking for a guide spacing recomendation for this Blank. Something to start out with at least.
If there is none, I will space and cast test myself, but is there a guide for this blank?
Any help is appreciated...thank you.

Hello
From the Tip Top Down
43/8-93/8-151/2-213/8-281/2-361/2-45-56
Hope this helps. Have a great day.

Jason, Thank you for the info and quick response. I am sure this is great information...if I knew how to decode it!
This is pretty funny to me as I sit and look at this. I had no idea I would not be able to figure out the info. I should have clarified that I am new to this and have previously placed guides and test cast to fine tune them. I never had a spacing recomendation, so this is the first time I've seen one.

I'm certain this is obvious to any builder out there, but I just don't understand it.
Tip top dowm...got that...first guide measured from tip top and each is measured from the tip top.
The / seperates each measurement? That would be 7 total.
Measure in mm ?
8-93... 8=? 93= distance?
/2-45-56 = ?
See how lost I really am?
Any clarification will greatly be appreciated...this is too nice of a rod to not give it my best effort.

I'm new to rod building but I believe it is this:
from the tip top down
4 3/8 inches -9 3/8 inches -15 1/2 inches-21 3/8 inches -28 1/2 inches -36 1/2 inches- 45 inches- 56 inches
each is measured from the tip top I think
Osmosis, Thanks very much...! Well, that certainly makes sense. I was just not seeing it that way without the spaces. A mental block of sorts. I appreciate the help from you and Jason.
Don't sweat it I had to look hard too to figure it out.

Is the guide spacing the same for the 843-3 model? Also, what are the guide sizes that should be used? Thanks!
