I am primarily after Oregon winter/summer steelhead but don't mind enticing the occasional coho. I like to fish steelhead with float and jig and sometimes drifted corkie, bait, and yarn combos. Is there a holy grail length/model to shoot for when looking for a all terrain rod? I should make it known that I don't really have a preference when it comes to spinning or casting set-up. I am partial to catching verses just fishing however.

Hello
I do not know what type of price point you are going for? I personally use for spinners, spoons and drift fishing the EXC 92 M and for float fishing the EXS 96 L. They work out very well. We do offer many other great options at a lower price point. Just look for a rod ranging from 8'6"-10' med-med/hvy action. and in spinning 9'-10'6" in a light to med action. If I was looking for one rod to do it all. Stick in the 9'6" bait casting models in a medium action. Hope this helps have a great day.
