Is there a rod or blank similar to the X 86 MC, but with a faster action?

If you can find an XMG 50 blank, with the same line weight, they are usually a bit faster actioned. If you can'r find on I may have one in the attic in the blank rack left.
No one knows as much as all of us.
The X 86 MTC Would be the closest with a little faster action they are rated a little heavier but are a great rod they are 8'6" rated 8-17# test. Hope this helps.

Thanks guys. I'll look for an old XMG 50, I didn't see them in the catalogs I have though.
I'll check out the X 86 MTC but I think 8-17 might be a bit too heavy.
I generally fish the clackamas and don't need that much power except for springers.
They haven't built the shorter versions of the XMG rods for a while now, so you'll have to find one in someone's stash. The 10 ft version of the Certified Pro in your line weight was also a faster actioned blank, but I haven't built one in a while, they may have changed it. Sort of an MT type tip in a lower powered blank.
