Topwater rod (sammy & ricos)

Just wondering which rod would be better for topwater? XC-704X or XC-734.

The XC 734 would be a better choice. It is a little slower and will be able to throw the larger plugs a little better. Hope this helps have a great day.

Also consider the all glass

Also consider the all glass Skeet Reese SR705R. Thats the rod that guy uses for all his topwater fishing. He's pretty good.

Also a tip - use 30lb braid instead of mono. You won't be sorry.....
