salmon rod advice

hi,

I,m looking about 10' casting rod for salmon fishing from bank.
i use spoons between 1/2 and 3/4oz., line about 14 pound, reel Team Daiwa Zillion 7.3:1
and important as long casts.

I would go with the Certified

I would go with the Certified Pro X 10 MHC it is 10' rated 10-20# test. 1/2-1 1/2 oz. lure rating. This model will work great for your application. Hope this helps have a great day.

could someone say how many guides are on this rod, what is length of handle from top to the trigger?

There are 14 guides and a tip

There are 14 guides and a tip top. The handle is 19" to the top of the reel seat. Hope this helps.

Hello Again The X 106 MHC is 8.4oz. And the X 10 MHC is 8.6 oz. I will tell you though the X 10 MHC does feel better in the hand it has a better ballance and a little better action in the rod you will not be sorry. It is a great rod.
