Daiwa luna 300 is a little sloppy and moves in the reel seat of LGM 70 XH

this very popular reel moves slightly back and forth in the back of the reel seat. Is this a warranty issue? How to corrrect? When a 30 lb musky hits, i am afraid she will rip the reel off the rod

Have you tried other reels on

Have you tried other reels on that rod? If so did they have slop in the reel seat as well? If they do than yes it is mostl likely a warranty issue. Otherwise sometimes certain reels just do not fit well on some rods. But before jumping to conclusions I would say try a few other reels first and then contact our warranty department. Hope this helps.
