I'm interested in hearing more about the new XS1061PP. I think it could be my next rod. What blank is it, is it made on a GSB? Butt diameter? Is it an "M"? Any help will do...

The Blank we use in that model is the CSB 126 1M The butt diameter is .812 We so far have had great reviews on this rod. If you do decide to get it let us know what you think about it and any feed back you have will be much appreciated.

Thanks Jason,
Aren't the other XSs (like the XS101MS) fashioned on the GSB blanks? Also, I have a question about a different rod: What is the difference between the XS101MS and the XS101MS-AC besides the lack of a reel seat and full cork handle?
Matthew
Hello Matthew
Yes most all of the XS models are made out of the GSB blanks. Between the two XS 101 MS models the only difference is the AC stands for all cork they are made on the same blank. Also they both have the same guides. Hope this helps.

Is there any plan on making a factory rod on a GSB 11 M one piece blank?
At this point in time we do not plan to. Because of shipping reasons. All longer rods have to be shipped through private trucking company's and it is very expensive.
