Anybody out there own the G 1311 spinning rod? I'm on the fence about it and was wondering how it performs? Thanks.

Hello
I have fished with the G-1311 numerous times. What application are you planning on this rod for? It is a great blank and has been a staple here at Lamiglas for many years.

Mostly salmon/steelhead drift fishing and casting spinners and spoons.
Marco
That would be a great choice if you are set on spinning. If you do not mind fishing a bait casting reel I would recommend them over spinning for your application. You will have a lot more line control. You are able to extend your drift a lot better without loosing touch of your gear. For both drift fishing and spinners. The bait casting model would be the G 1310 T. Hope this helps have a great day.

I am set on spinning. the 1311 it is. Thanks for the input. I own numerous Lamiglas rods and have never been let down by their performance.

What size reel would you recomend. I use Okuma reels. Thanks.
Marco
The 4000 size reels work best on the G1311.

Hi guys!
I have some questions, before i make final decision.
What is the weight of Lamiglas spinning G 1311 (whole rod, not just blank)?
How many guides are on blank?
Blank made in USA, or not?
Thank u!
