I just broke my old plugging rod and I'm looking to replace it. I am looking for a rod to match my ABU Record 61. It is to be used in surf, fishing plugs from 3/4oz soft jerkbaits to 3oz metal lipped swimmers. Any suggestions?

I have a couple of questions for you. How long of a rod are you wanting and do you want a two piece?
I am open for suggestions. The last one was 10' one piece moderate action S-glass. I am looking for something lighter and smaller at the butt, last one was almost 1.5". Also faster so I can work jerkbaits.
I would suggest our ss 10 mhs. It is from our Super Surf line. Probably one of the nicest casting rods around. A very fast action rod for your jerk baits. Hope this helps.
