I'm looking at the blanks below for building an inshore casting rod. The main use for this rod will be casting and jigging crippled herrings, bucktails etc. for stripers. Will also use it for casting larger plugs and swimbaits. Lure weight will be in the 2-4 oz range, maybe a little heavier if jigging in strong current. My #1 question is which blanks have the most moderate action, not looking for a fast action.
