Looking for new rods

Hey, I'm about to replace my old rods and I'm interested in Lamiglas. I fish for Stripers/Blues/Weakfish/Black Drum in the Delaware Bay and southern NJ. I'm in need of three rods (medium & medium heavy) spinning for the Stripers/Blues/Weakfish (I'll be using Okuma Alumina 4000 & 5000 series reels) and med/hvy conventional for the BDrum ( I'll be using Avet SX 5.3:1.) I'm on a budget but I do want good value. Could you recommend a selection of 7' lamiglas rods I should look at? Second question: If I plan on using braided line -- does that matter in the rod selection criteria?

BT7020S for fluke and like

BT7020S for fluke and like sized fish. BL7025S for a "Do It All" rod. BL7030C for stripers and blues. I'd probably have some MBS 703s around for schoolie blues and strippers, I think they would also work well for weakfish and flukes etc. on the shallower flats.

No one knows as much as all of us.

@Spoonplugger 1 thanks for

@Spoonplugger 1 thanks for the thoughts. I'll take a look at what you suggested. I'm going to look at the IC series as well as they are slightly less expensive. Maybe a mix of the two?

You could go that way, but

You could go that way, but from time to time you find the Trflex spinning rods on sale because they aren't as popular as the casting versions. I see there is a good price on the 7020S at Fisherman's Headquarters in I believe New Jersey, $10 cheaper than the ICs it looks like.

Nice. Thanks for the heads
