How does the XC664 compare the XC705 ? Does the XC664 have less bend ? I feel the XC705 is a little lite in the tip looking for a rod that does not bend right over when you set the hook when texas riging

I think your looking for last year's EXC 705. If you can't find one I happen to know Angler's Workshop has two blanks waiting for a home.
No one knows as much as all of us.
Berner......The XC 664 is a bit stiffer or faster than the 705. We have heard comments on the 705 like that and it really should be a bit faster action than it is for today's bass fishermen. Look for a completely newly designed Certified Pro series coming later this year or early 2012.
