BL 7040 C Color Trim

BL 7040 C Color Trim

I just purchased a second BL 7040 C rod. I laid them side by side and noticed one has a green trim and the other has gold.

Is there a difference in the rods other than just the color?

I would have specified all one color ( gold) if I knew there were different colors.

The rod has not changed at all just a little face lift. Just changed some of the cosmetics a little. Hope this helps have a great day.

Hello the new models have the

Hello the new models have the Gold Trim band. You can also check on the blank near the fore grip there is a date code stamped on the rod. G 10 is July of 2010 Letter is the Month A being January the number is the year 10 would be 2010. Hope this helps have a great day.
