I am looking at getting a 8'6" to 9'6" spinning rod that is versatile enough that I can use it for jig/float, drift fishing, spoons, spinners, etc. I want it to have a sensitive tip but still have a good backbone. Any suggestions would be great!

I'd have at least two rods, but if I had to have one, the X 96 JS with two reels. One 2500 and the other 4000 sized for the line/line capacity/balance you'll need for all those species and techniques.
No one knows as much as all of us.
Hello
The X 96 JS is going to be one of the more versitile rods we will have in our line. That would be a great choice.
