I had an Inshore Classic IC 70 MH 7' and recently purchased an Inshore Classic IC 70 H 7'. I didn't notice until I had them side by side, but the Lamiglas name, specs and Inshore Classic logo are different. The rod butt and fore grip are also slightly different. Same reel seat, fuji guides and wrappings.
Question is did Lamiglass change there lettering and logo for the inshore classic at some point? Are these rods just different model years? Are there counterfiet Lamiglas rods being sold?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
I just looked at the warranty section and saw how to date the rods. The rod I had is H09 (August 09) and the rod I just bought (used) is G4 (July 04). So I'm guessing the difference is just a change by Lamiglas in the logo design and look.

The blank on this model has not changed. We just did a couple updates on ratings and the decal. We set the ratings to what we felt was closer to fit the capability's of the rod. I hope this helps have a great day.
