What does MMTS stand for?

I just picked up an Cert Pro X90 MMTS and see that designator is no longer used. Where would this rod excel best?

This would be a 9' Medium Mag

This would be a 9' Medium Mag Taper Spinning. This would be a great light duty Salmon and Steelhead rod. Great for Drift Fishing, Spinners and Spoons, as well as Float fishing in a pinch. I hope this helps have a great day.
