Wholesale Sports Line of Rods?

I was recently looking at Lamiglas rods at Wholesale Sports in Lacey, WA I noticed some nice Lamiglas Bass rods. Split Grip with a Forest Green finish. My question is what blank was used for this line of rods? They were between $119.00 to $139.00. My other question is when will Lamiglas come out with the split grip in the Salmon and Steelhead rods?

Split grips wouldn't work

Split grips wouldn't work well with any rod used in a rod holder. Damage to the blank or finish and hangups in the holder could follow. The ergonomics of a 14 inch rear grip length on some rods would be uncomfortable to cast with if you use the rear cork during 2 handed casts. The 12 inch grip length on spinning rods may be comfortable for some, I don't find it so.

No one knows as much as all of us.

Hello This would depend on

Hello

This would depend on the model what blank we used. Several of the models were ran on the same blanks as our Certified Pro series and some were on G 1000's They are all great rods. The reason for the lower price is based on the components. For the money they are a great. the split grips were used on more of the Steelhead, Bass models. Most all the Salmon rods were ran with one piece butt sections. Hope this helps have a great day.
