I am planning to build two identical rods for pulling plugs from a drift boat. These rods will be used to target California Russian River Steelhead ranging from 6 lbs to 12 lbs. I would appreciate any recommendation's as to what blanks would best serve this purpose.

The BSP 961 will be entering back in to the line here soon. This will be a composite rod rated 6-12 # 8' long. This will be a great plug rod. If all graphite would be what you would like either the GSH 902 MT 7' 6" rated 8-17 or the GSH 96 1MT 8' rated 10-20# test. I hope this helps have a great day.
