Walleye and Brown trolling on lake Ontario

Hey guys,

I am looking for a rod that will work for trolling browns and walleye on Lake Ontario. These fish will average between 6lb and 12lb and I will be flatlining stick baits. I will most likely be putting daiwa accudepth 17lc or 27lc reels on the rods with 12-15lb mono. I'd like a medium-light action rod around 8'6"-9'6".

I do not know if you would like graphite or Fiberglass so I will give you options in both. In 8'6" the XCF 862 is a fiberglass model. in 9' The XCF 903. In graphite the X 86 MC in 8' 6" in 9' 6" the X 96 JC will work out well for you. I hope this helps have a great day.
