Hello, I'm looking for any information I can find regarding a Lamiglas #CPC803. It's an 8' Medium Light casting rod rated at 8-15lb test and 1/4-1/2oz lures. At first I thought it was a bass casting rod but I am starting to think that it may be a light plug rod used for Steelhead and Salmon. It's an older rod that was given to me. The rod seems to be never used and it is like new. Any information you can help me with is greatly appreciated.

I would guess the blank is one we made special for a custom builder as the number is not one we use or have used (not that I can find anyhow). I would guess it is a popping blank which make great plug rods for steelhead.

Thanks Josh,
That would make sense as the rod maker used high quality blanks to make custom rods for several professional bass anglers. At 8' it's a bit longer than most of my top water and crankin' bass rods, but it is a fine rod and I will put it to good use this spring.
Thanks again
