I have been fishing in the heart of Steelhead heaven, on the Salmon River, in the heart of Idaho. On a trip last year I was standing next to a man that asked what rod I was fishing with. As I told him I was not surprized to learn he had not heard of it due to it being a limited production rod that was sponsered to me. I offered him to give it a few casts and he offerd the same. His rod was a Rock Creek, by Lamiglas. As he asked where I purchased my rod and the cost of it, he seemed to be dissapointed by how I came about owning this rod. But as all of us do his eyes lit up as I asked the same of him. (You know all of us are eager for a story. I was impressed on how the rod felt as I rolled the bait round the rocks of the heavy spring run off of the Salmon River.....then I about fell over when he told me the cost of it. For the response and feeling that rod delivered, the cost was VERRY low to me. Well to cut three months out of the story..power windows are hard on even the best rods! Since that day I have thought about the Rock Creek by lamiglas for the replacement of that rod.....but I can't find any info about it. Can anyone here help me about these rods?
