deciding on purchasing a casting drift Rod.

I curently fish the Cowlitz near barrier Dam. I am looking for casting drift Rod 8 1/2 to 9' which is capable of handling strong river currents and can handle using 1 to 1 1/2 cannon ball sinkers. what would you suggest?
