I am having issues selecting a surf rod blank. I live in oklahoma and am trying to build a rod that 1st will be my primary snagging rod (paddlefish) and 2nd will be used for catfishing. Typically the lure weights are the same for both 3-5oz. When snagging i prefer a rod with a light tip and strong backbone but when catfishing i also have to keep visibility in mind. i have a new ABU GARCIA AMBASSADUER 10000 i would like to match with the perfect rod. Does anyone have any suggestions for a 11ft or longer white lamiglass blank. also i have to keep it light for snagging as i typically cast over and over again sometimes for hours.
