Looking for a good kok rod. I don't want a real noodle rod, something with a little back bone for downrigger fishing. Want to stick with fiberglass, and 2 sections if possible. The more guides the better. Have you got a designated kokanee rod?

The CG70DR would be perfect for your application.

How many guides, and how does it compare to the FC76UL? Any chance seeing the CG70DR on sale at the next Central Oregon Sportsman Show?
The CG 70 DR has a little more back bone and it of course is a little shorter then the FC 76 UL As far as the amount of guides the FC 76 UL has 11 guides and a tip top and the CG 70 DR has 10 guides and a tip top. Both have plenty of guides. Hope this helps have a great day.

I am a guide in Northern California and I have 4 FC76UL and that is what I use for Kokanee. I have just purchased 8 CG70DR and everyone loves the color and they have worked great on trout and even 4-9lb Stripers at Hogan Resovoir. That is why I mainly bought them-they have great tips with awesome backbone. I have to say though I love the FC76UL for Kokes-the noodle works great. Good Luck and have a great time on the water. Lamiglas rods are great all around for every type of fishing. I am getting ready to purchase some Delta Striper Rods soon. Thanks Brian
