The 7030 has a foam handle, the 7030CGH has a graphite handle, and the 7030CGH-SP has a graphite handle and spiral wrapped guides. The 7040LB is a live bait rod with a very light tip.

How would this rod work as a live bait and/or chunking rod for Striped Bass? Would the BL 7040C be a better choice?
