Hi guys,
I read the characteristics of the blank XSH 105 2MT. His lure w. is 1/2-1oz.
The equivalent of this blank is the rod X 89 MTS, but its w. Lure is 1/2-1 3/8oz.
Where is the error? I do not think the X 89 MTS launches so much.
Why does the rod is no longer in production?
The only reason we have taken the X 89 MTS out of the line is because of sales performance. We did not move enough of them a year too keep in our catalog. As far as the lure rating you will find several that vary in lure ratings. The rod is more then capable of casting up to 1 3/8. As far as the reason why we rate them different I do not know, but I will try to find out from the rod designer and I will let you know. Thanks
