8-15 EXS 96M-CG ?

I recently picked up this rod and just need a little guidance on it. I have looked high and low and can not find any info on this rod. What is the suggested use for it? It seems a little stiff up top for drift fishing.

That model should not at all

That model should not at all be to stiff. Give it a try you will find it to be very sensitive. If you have not yet done so. It should work out well for you.
