Hey all, I just got my 7'0" excel cranking stick from tackle warehouse. It features a full cork grip. When casting it around it felt fine but when loaded up with the weight of a fish or hangup, the top portion of the grip coming up to the reel seat doesn't seem to be glued down and will slide out a bit to the side depending on how the rod is flexed. So if i were to set the hook on a fish holding the rod in my left hand and cranking with my right hand and sweep the rod to my right to load it up, the top of the cork handle will want to push to the right. If there something i can do to fix this myself? Like remove the buttcap and handle and reglue it or something?
