I'm looking at a XS 10 MS to fish plugs in the 2 1/2 to 3 oz range. I have been talking to a tackle shop that has that rod, but the rating on the rod is 1-3 oz. When I look at your rod specs I see a rating of 2-4 oz. I'm thinking that the for sale must be an older rod and that the specs for the XS 10 MS must have changed. Have the specs changed on the XS 10 MS? Is this a good popper rod? Is there another 10' 2 piece spinning rod that is lighter and better for poppers?
