I'm looking at purchasing my first lamiglas rod for spin casting. It'll be used to throw from the beach, jetty's and rocky points (Montauk coves). I'll be throwing bucktails, medium sized plugs to 3oz and metal. Fish will be stripers (of course) and blues in the fall/spring and spanish mackeral/small drum in the spring/summer (Hatteras). I'm looking at the Ron Arra line 1203-2, 1205-2 and 1321-2 (wish you guys made a 2 piece 1261 !). I won't be throwing chunks with this rod.
Recommendations ?
The models you chose are among the most popular in the series. The #1 seller year in and year out is the 1321-2 as the 11' length gives you a longer cast and better line control.
