I recently acquired one of the old Texalium Inshore rods as my new Albacore swimbait rod.
It's the TEX-8030. Love the awesome blue Tex butt and the use of the foam foregrip.
What I'm curious about is what blank are these built on? They aren't listed in the rod conversion chart.
Kudos on an outstanding swimbait stick!
Paired it up with a blue Avet SX with 50lb spectra backing and will tie up 20 or 25lb floro depending on the need.
The are built on a blank that has been discontinued Tex901M. They were great but just did not sale very well.
