I have 3 reels I use. I have a shimano sahara 750, shimano symetre 750 and a shimano symetre 2500. All are 2008 models. I use 6 pound test mono on the 750 series reels and 10 pound mono on the 2500. I fish for bluegill, sunfish, crappie, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, trout, pike, musky, freshwater drum and catfish. Im looking for the best rods for these reels and fish that wont break and will last forever. They dont have to be the most expensive rods in the world either. I just want something light and durable that I can fish all day. I usually just fish with a bobber, 2 split shots and a baitkeeper hook. Sometimes I use a pre tied leader with a baitkeeper hook and about 12 inches below that I tie on a swivel with a quick connect and put a drop shot weight on. I use wax worms, nightcrawlers and minnows for bait on both setups. I like one piece rods to because every two piece rod I have had has never stayed together when I cast. I have heard of people putting candle wax on the rod there it meets the top piece to keep them together but Im not sure if that is going to work. The rod can be a two piece to. Any help would be great. Thank you everyone and have a wonderful day.

I also fish from shore or a dock or the bank. You can also recommend other rods from other manufactures and better reels from other manufatures as well. I also am wondering what brand and type of grease and oil I should be using in my reels. Again any help would be great.
