Beach Fishing

I am looking for a fly rod to use beach fishing for searun cutthroat in the Puget Sound and Hood Canal. I know what I want and it appears that Lamiglas doesn't offer it, more specifically a 9' fast or ex fast 6wt with a full wells grip and a fighting butt. I have fished with Lamiglas rods for years, but have never owned a Lamiglas fly rod and would like to. Is it possible for Lamiglas to put a full wells grip and fighting butt on one of the existing 9' 6wt rods?

If I were a purist I wouldn't catch as many fish

Unfortunately we do not offer a model that would fit that bill. We try to stick with our normal production models. There are many good custom rod builders around that could get you set up. We offer several great blanks that you could get built up if you would like.
