im looking to either make or buy a stipper bass rod to use from a boat here in northen cali on the delta

I would go with our new 705 Stripper Rod 7' 8-20# test 3/8-1 1/2 lure rating it is great. That is what we designed it for.

Are you baitfishing or plugging with lures? If its for lures I would go with the the 705r mentioned above it might not be suitable for bait fishing which involves casting weights between 2-4 ounces but it will work
